In June 2011, I will cycle from Edinburgh to London, leaving Edinburgh Waverly Station as the first train of the day passes through, and aim to cycle to London Euston before the last train of the day from Edinburgh arrives. This means cycling 410 miles, between 01:30 and 06:30 the following morning (time table depending) Racing the last train
I have been inspired to do this by my sister who in 2010 contracted cancer and had to under go an operation to remove one of her lungs and half her diaphragm, before facing radio and chemotherapy. This brought it home to me that cancer effects everyone
