I am going to be running the Singapore marathon on December 6 in support of the RAF Benevolent Fund. It is a task made more challenging by the hot and humid conditions prevalent in that part of the world. To try and acclimatise to whilst training in , I have been running in several layers of clothing, see photos for proof of training effort.
The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF primary welfare organisation, for more info on their considerable achievements go to www.rafbf.org. I am paying for all travel and related expenses to get me to Singapore as i am there on 'holiday' so any donations made will go to the charity.
Any donation of whatever sum will be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE
I have now completed Sing Marathon in 3hrs 27min 15sec, thank you to all who sponsored me it helped focus my efforts through the dark period from the 20 mile point. Post race, now day three and i can just about manage stairs. You can get all the race facts from the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon web site and type in my bib number 27639.
