My story

Hi i`m a local postman in tewkesbury and on the 2nd August i will embark on a 72mile bike ride with Martin Allen (CTFC Manager)Associate Director Simon Masding, 5 dedicated supporters and Mike Pink of Cheltenham Cycles from Maidenhead to Cheltenham Town football club. There was more riders but on guy has drop out un known reason and BBC`s Mark Cummings has droped out due to injury. This event has been organised to help raise much needed cash for the football club, and help Martin prepare his squad for the up coming season.Leaving at the crack of dawn we will arive at the ground in time for the friendly game against Birmingham.

Update

Hi just to let everyone now that my training is going very well. I`m hoping to do one last big ride tomorrow about 60miles with a few of the other riders then do a few shorts rides monday, tuesday and wednesday. Then rest completly till the ride. Which is getting very close now only 1week to go im a bit nervous but exctied sholud be a good day. I`m also hopeing to go on BBC radio gloucestershire next friday with a few other riders to talk about what we are doing. I`m also going to be on sky sports news at 7am on the day of the ride. So please everyone sponsor me even if its as little as £2 it will all help. As  i`m doing this challage for me personaly and not for anybody else, and it will feel great knowing i have done something good in my life that will benifit lots of peole.

Thanks dean.

I want to raise some big money for the club. After all, this is a great community to be part of. It's great that im doing this with Martin Allen   and I'll give him a push if he starts to tire. We will all need lots of support so we'll make sure we give you lots of updates of our plans over the next eight weeks"

The club will need lots of support from local business, fans, media and the general public. Already there has been great interest from National TV and local media - you can all help by sponsoring or donating to a very worthwhile cause . Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs.

So please dig deep and donate now.
