Why your donation matters

The Rainbow Rooms UK supports the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community in the UK in many different ways one of which is an Anti-Bullying helpline. The Rainbow Rooms UK has been running for six years, but is still trying to raise enough funds so it can open dedicated meeting places in the local community where LGBT people and their families feel isolated with no ware to socialise and get support and information.

“It is really quite desperate,” he said. “At the moment we are just treading water and any funds we do raise get channelled into the helpline or other service provision. “It has got to the point where the youngsters are getting disheartened. They need to feel that someone cares and that someone is listening to them.”
