VOICE UK supports people with learning disabilities who have experienced crime or abuse. It also supports their families and carers and professional workers. It has a telephone helpline, parent contacts who support other parents and also provides training and speakers.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Voice UK is charity based in Derby and do some amazing work such as:

Running a telephone helpline for victims of crime and abuse. The helpline receives approximately 400 calls annually 25% of which involve the sexual abuse, assault or rape of a vulnerable victim. The helpline receives approximately 400 calls annually 25% of which involve the sexual abuse, assault or rape of a vulnerable victim.
Direct casework support for vulnerable victims of sexual assault

Producing essential accessible information resources and materials (leaflets, books, CDs) for professionals, vulnerable people, their families, carers and for professionals.

Campaign work focusing on injustices in the legal system, measures to prevent abuse, and making sure those who work with disabled people are suitable.

I know that you will help me to help the charity continue what it does best. Remember every penny counts so please give what you can afford. I really do appreciate all your support and generosity and look forward to crossing that line!
