I have been selected to represent the Great Britain Deaf Badminton Team to play at the 2009 Deaflympics in Taiwan this September, 5th-15th September 2009  and will defend his Deaflympics Gold for a record 6 time to bring a gold medal home! 

In the last Deaflympics in 2005, I was part of Great Britain Deaf Badminton GOLD single & Double Winner.

5 times Deaflympics Badminton Gold winner

2 times Deaf World Champion Gold winner

Austrian Open Champion (hearing BWF)

All England Veterans Champion in 2008/2009  (Gold medallist) (Hearing)

European Veteran Champion in 2008 (Two Gold Medallist)

(Hearing BWF)

Will take part in the World Veteran Championship in Spain Sept/Oct 2009 (Hearing BWF)


Unfortunately, the government won't fund me and the GB Team to go Deaflympics due all the funds goes to Paralympics and Olympics 2012.

So I will be taking part of a sponsored Badminton Team.  It is my first time to do a fundraising from a sponsored Badminton, so please support me to raise £3,300 to have an opportunity to compete in the Deaflympics
