As you maybe aware,I have been a volunteer for the British Red Cross for the best part of 27 years.

I currently volunteer with the youth and schools and fundraising teams.

the British Red Cross youth and schools team in Lancashire works with young people between the ages of 10 and 19years. We ( one member of staff and a team of volunteers) amongst many other things teach young people vital First Ais skills.

The demand for our work is currently beyond our currnt resources and we wish to raise funds totrain more volunteers like me , enabling us to reach a greater number of young people in the area.

By supporting me to swim acroos lake Windermere you will help many young people in Lancashire learn First Aid skills thatcould help to save a life! please be as generouse as you can.
