Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  I am cycling from Roscoff in Northern France to Santander in Northern Spain with a good friend of mine, Trevor Day.  We are leaving on 5 May and returning on the 21 May 2009.  This challenge is one of about 1200 kilometres (or 700 miles).  A ride with a sting in the tail of the Pyrenees and the mountains of Northern Spain!  By the way the photo on the left shows me in Ilfracombe at the start of a Devon Coast to Coast ride we did as part of the preparation.

Having suffered a heart attack in April 2007 Trevor has made a great recovery and he is raising money for the British Heart Foundation www.justgiving.com/trevorday . 

As my mother died of a stroke several years ago, I thought the most apporpriate charity for me would be the Stroke Association.  It does an incredible amount of excellent work for those with an illness that afflicts an enormous number of people.
