The Myton Hospices

Each year The Myton Hospices care for over 1700 patients and their families at our hospices in Warwick, Rugby and our brand new facility in Coventry. We give support and reassurance, relieve symptoms and control pain, and help them make the most of every minute of their lives.

The Myton Hospices are an independent charity and all of our services are provided free of charge but the running costs for the three hospices will amount to more than £5.2million per annum, which we need to raise through voluntary donations. It is only with the help of the local community that we can continue to care for our patients at one of the most difficult times of their life.

On Monday 26th May 2008, the Rapide team will participate in the BUPA 10k run in London http://www.london10000.co.uk.

Rapide is a software company providing innovative ways to use mobile phones to communicate faster with staff and customers. Nigel Shanahan, Managing Director, formed the company in 2000.

We have decided to raise money for Myton Hamlet Hospice Trust. They provide Specialist Palliative Care of the highest quality for adult patients with advanced progressive life limiting illness in a safe homely environment. It is a local charity for Rapide to support and one close to our hearts.
