The adidas thunder run is a 24hr cross country race at Catton Park. It seemed like such a massive challenge so me being me wanted to have a go.

Luckily I have somehow got 15 friends to join me split over two teams. We will be running around the clock in all weather conditions, with little/no sleep.

Together we decided to raise money for cancer research UK as a friend and fellow mum is sadly now fighting cancer. So many of us have been touched by it in our lives, that we all felt we wanted to do our bit. Myself and my team have been training extremely hard for this event, we are all very committed and have been running as often as possible around our work commitments and family life.

So please give what you can to make all our hard work have been worth it!!! I think at times during the night when we are running on fatigued bodies the thought that we have raised money for such an amazing charity will keep us going!!
