My story

Having completed both the runs, I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has sponsored me..!

I'm pleased to say I was happy with the times I ran in both the Great North Run (a pb of 1:33:22) and the Dublin Marathon (3:16:59). More importantly, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience... Boston Marathon next!

Depressingly, cancer is something that will touch many of our lives. I'm pleased to have raised money for Cancer Research UK and to support the amazing work they do developing new and more effective treatments of cancer, which give hope to both patients and their families.

Thanks again for your support!

Well done Rebecca, we do have marathons in Australia too! Donation by Janet (Australia) 18/11/08
