I'm doing various sport challenges for charity! I'm cycling from Leeds to Paris in April, running a 10k in Lincoln, cycling from Leeds to Grimsby and maybe a town or university near you if you fancy putting up a Jones for a night! All the money raised will go to Soft Power education and Recycle Africa.
The money raised that goes towards Soft Power Education will help me personally transform lives in Uganda this June 2010. I'm travelling over with Leeds University Raise and Give Society to work within community projects I am hoping to raise at least £500 to pay for the materials and resources needed to help build a school. Here's an idea to how your donation could transform a community:
£5 could buy a shovel or 4 litres of paint
£10 could pay for 60 bricks
£20 could buy a truck load of plaster sand
£35 could pay for the wages of one of our pre school teachers for a month
