This was for Christmas 2010, but we feel the song encapsulates the journey our young people and volunteers, many of whom you see, embark upon...
Why your donation matters
Red Dreams isn't like other charities in that it is a living memorial to our son Kyle. We don't work to change lives in the obvious ways; but ask any of our young people about how their self-esteem and motivation has grown or how their own skills and confidence have been boosted; they will certainly say their lives HAVE changed. It is incredibly important to us and with our team of incredibly committed volunteers, we mentor, coach and support each individual on their path to achieving their goals and aspirations. Their goals could be building confidence and working with others, or recording music and playing festivals; whatever they are we all work incredibly hard in order to achieve them.

Case study: donations in action
Our young people are excelling in many areas, and are proud of that. One lad is a guitarist in a band and at first he would not speak, or look anybody in the eye. His confidence slowly grew and he asked us if he could try new things. To cut a long story short, he now teaches, with 10 pupils of varying ability, and has business cards for Private Lessons, something that he would never have had the self-belief to do previously. Just the fact that they start to believe in themselves is life changing enough. So to break through the confidence barrier and keep smashing goals along the way, shows us that the project is essential and will continue to transform people's lives and abilities for the better. A girl said “I only ever sang in my bedroom and never even told my friends I could sing or play guitar. Now I have sang in Sunderland and Stockton at their official Christmas Lights events, and won an award for entertainment!” Read more: http://artswork.org.uk/campaign-2011
