Hey everyone
Firstly thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Now’s the time to do something, to raise money for this extremely worthy and dedicated charity called Vision Aid Overseas. My challenge, the biggest to date, will involve putting my legs through some titanic effort so that I can attempt to climb the highest freestanding mountain in the world, KILIMANJARO.
A few of you may be thinking 'wow' or more likely ’crazy woman’ but after you've read about what the charity does, you'll understand why i'm doing this.
I think this is a fantastic charity and feel very privileged to be personally fundraising for. The trip is being self funded so that all the money raised will go directly to VAO, this inturn helps many people in India and Sub Sahara Africa who need spectacles to lead a normal life and earn a salary, otherwise they would be registered as blind-so this is the most curable form of blindness. Also, we go out there to help train volunteers to learn the skills to become capable Optometrists...so it's a win, win situation, but I need your help! Please sponsor me now!
So please join me in raising this target and by spreading the word to as many people you know, i will be immensely proud of everyone who donates and in return I will get to the top of that mountain knowing that all the money raised is going to a great cause.
