About my charity : WellChild WellChild
WellChild supports sick children and their families across the UK. WellChild Children’s Nurses give care and support to chronically sick children living at home. WellChild Helpline and Information Service offers confidential advice and information about children’s health (helpline@wellchild.org.uk). Our research nurses and doctors work in hospitals across the UK to develop better treatments and cures for childhood illness and disease.

My personal message:

To celebrate 10 years of being a reformed fat kid, I have decided to run the London Marathon in April.

But more importantly, I have chosen to run for WellChild, the UK's childrens charity, who have been working to improve children's health for more than 25 years. To help WellChild continue helping improve children's treatments here in the UK, I am asking that you make a small donation to their cause. Any currency and any amount will do, it's the thought that counts! For those doubters out there (Plakas), I have been training hard and just completed my first half-marathon last weekend. I ran in a time of 1hr. and 34m and hope to run the actual race in under 3hrs 30 minutes.
