The UKSCF is the only UK medical research charity devoted solely to raising funding for stem cell projects. Its aim is to speed up the translation of research from the laboratory to therapies for patients.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are Owen Bain, John Thwaites, Yvonne Pang, Leanne Partington, Iwan Roberts. Owen will also be running the Edinburgh marathon!

We are all EngD students at UCL department of Biochemcial Engineering involved in Regenerative Medicine studentships funded by the UK Stem Cell Foundation.Together we are running the Adidas Silverstone Half marathon for the UKSCF to help fundraising and increase awareness so that society can benefit from these promising stem cell therapies.

The UKSCF is already helping not only funding projects to translate stem cell research into future therapies, but saving lives today, including those patients with:

Heart disease, liver disease, spinal cord repair, multiple sclerosis, corneal blindness and more.
