Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, it was a great day for the run on Sunday and I managed to get round in a good time at just over 52 minutes. This was my 5th successive year for the event which I do in memory of my wife Paula.

My neice Persia has almost finished more than a year of successful treatment for bone cancer in her spine at the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh and so keeps my incentive for raising money for Cancer Research UK  as resolute as ever. Her mum, my sister Vicky, helped her to get strapped into her new back brace and make the short walk from the hospital to the line of the route to cheer me on.
