Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We lost Jack and Jean, my Father and Mother-in-law (Andy's Mum and Dad) within 4 months of each other last year to cancer.
McMillan Nurses were great and took great care of them both throughout the year and were always available for help and advice.

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer so I'm doing my bit by swimming A MILE in Lake Windermere.

This is a huge challenge for me, I've never swam in open water before and I believe Windermere is pretty cold.

Whilst I'm swimming I'll be thinking of Jack and Jean and the support you'll be giving for us.
