      Hi.

      Recently, my Grandad passed away after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He was a great man and it was very sad to see him deteriorate under a condition that gets progressively worse and unfortunately for him, prevented him from being able to eat or drink.

       

      For this reason, I will be trying to raise funds and awareness for the Lewy Body Society, who support research into this form of Dementia.

       

      Any donations will be very much appreciated.

      The Lewy Body Society

      Virtually unknown but not uncommon, Lewy Body disease is the second most frequent cause of age-related neurodegenerative dementia. Accurate diagnosis is essential for successful treatment. The purpose of the Lewy Body Society is to raise awareness of this terrible disease amongst the public and the medical profession.
