My story

We completed our walk, followed by a funday on Sunday 16th May 2010 with great success.  I`d like to thank all those that turned up and supported us and made it such an enjoyable day.  I would also like to name those that gave there time and services for free- Hopyard classic events for the marquee, Dean Cox and all at Cookley social club, Debdale Equine centre for the pony rides, Tina, Andrew & Meg Mckenzie for face painting, Dave @ Creative framing, Wolverhampton for football shirts, friends Ali & Si, Nicky & Ross Hawken, Lulu & Phil Connolly, Paula Crocker and Deb Mulberry for all hands on deck and last but not least our family Pauline & Neil (my mum & dad), Sandra & Derek (Jodys mum & dad) and Becky & Dave (my sister and brother in law) for all their help and support from when we lost Jake right through to now with our funday.

I`ll up-date with money raised at Funday as soon as all money is in.

Thank-you

Unfortunately over 300 babies die every year from cot death, and in 2002 our first baby Jake was one of those babies at only 5 months old.  With great support from FSID we were able to become strong enough to continue our dream of having a family.  We are now very grateful to have 3 beautiful boys Joseph, Luke and Toby, but will never forget Jake.  In memory of Jake, we would like to raise as much money as possible for FSID to help stop sudden infant death devasting families lives every year.  Please support this great cause, every donation counts however small, it is all greatly appreciated.
