Story
Thank you for visiting this page to raise money in memory of Phil James who died on January 12th 2009.
We all remember Phil as a devoted husband to Mary and father to Ella and Laurie and as a great brother, brother-in-law, uncle, colleague, neighbour and friend. We remember Phil's humour, warm heart and energy. We remember him as a hard working social housing officer and a life-long Newcastle United supporter. We were all privileged to have known Phil and deeply sad that his life has been cut short.
Rather than send flowers to Phil's funeral, Mary and the family ask you to donate to Grapevine, a local charity that helps people with learning disabilities have the same rights and chances as anyone else.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also efficient: Grapevine gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
