Manchester’s Oxford Road venue Attic plays host to a fundraiser gig for Cheadle Hulme based charity Retrak on Sunday February 28. Manchester funk band Bump School will headline, with support from jazz funk collective Pippa and Pascal’s Mobile Jazz Café and up and coming Manchester based musician Robin Mukherjee. The evening will be hosted by Didsbury comedian Julian Daniel, with presentations from Retrak showcasing their work resettling and rehoming street children in Kampala, Uganda and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Retrak works to see street children in East Africa (predominantly Ethiopia and Uganda) given a real alternative to life on the street. Through our projects the kids are provided with basic needs, as well as counselling and being given the opportunity to be reunited with their family, or re-homed in a foster family where this isn't possible.

This money will pay for facilitation, travel and accommodation to have 20 children reunited with their families through our project in Ethiopia! Please be as generous as you are able, and hopefully even if you can't make the Funkraiser you'll still be keen to support Retrak and donate anyway.
Thank you so much for your support,
Lucy and the Retrak Funkraiser team.
