On Sunday 19 July I will be attempting to run a 52.4 miles (84.4km) ultra marathon in in what is known as “The 50 mile Challenge”



Having never taken part or run a marathon race (17 miles was longest distance covered in training) so I was extremely happy to complete the race within the 15 hours time limit.


The Shooting Star Children's Hospice provides care, support and advice for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families
