I have always thought that I had enough get up and go to run a marathon. Before it get up and goes I was lucky or foolish enough to enter the SNOWDON MARATHON with 2 very good friends, Mike Scott and Gareth Davies.
This event is a cirmcumnavigation of Mount Snowdon in North Wales and is generally reagerded as one of the hardest marathons in the country, the first 5 miles are up the LLanberis pass. I am aiming for a sub 5hr 30 time but need your help in acheiving this. So please sponsor me now!
Recentley a very good freind and colleague had a very serious injury while in Skye and was assisted by the Mountain rescue team to whom is life is owed. For this reason I have pleadged to raise money for this deserving cause.
Please donate (if you can) to help the volunteers that staff mountain rescue teams around the country
I would also appreciate and clapping and cheering around the course on the day in North Wales (24th October)
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mountain Rescue England and Wales gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
