This is my Marie Curie fundraising page.

I am intending to make a Big Pilgrimage to take Maja's ashes from our house in Norwich to Vela Luka in Croatia.  Maja's family have a grave in Vela Luka and the cemetery overlooks the sea.  Maja wished for her ashes to be laid there.

Maja was only diagnosed in July 2007 with skin cancer.  She died on 14 October 2007 and she left an enormous loving impact on those who knew her which will live with us for the rest of our lives,  She was a very special lady.

Maja would see my pilgrimage as another positive and good thing that has come out of her life.  I set out on 1 May and hope to arrive in Vela Luka (1400 miles later) on about 24 May.
