Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On the 28th September 2008 I will be climbing the iconic Transporter Bridge (star of such shows as Auf Wiedersehen Pet and Johnny Briggs) and ignoring the glorious views of Teesside as I plunge straight back down towards the icy cold waters of the River Tees via the technology of a thin metal rope, all in aid of charity!
I'm doing this in aid of Teesside Hospice whose aim is to provide care to enhance the lives of local people suffering from life limiting illnesses in the Teesside region, free of charge. The Hospice cares for over 3,000 individuals each year and provides palliative care as well as respite to the families of those suffering from terminal illness.
All in all a very worthwhile organization, and very important to the people of Teesside.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Teesside Hospice Care Foundation gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
