Starting on the 23rd May i will be cycling the 230 miles from Farnham to La Rochelle in France. I have decided to make this trip in aid of the Scoliosis Association (UK). A fantastic charity that supports people affected by scoliosis - the curving and twisting of the spine.

I will be going on the back of a tandem with my friend Jim. It's not the first time I have done something like this - I love soaking up the sun and feeling the wind through my hair, and I can hear all the sounds of nature (and passing cars) around me. I am also keen on the frequent stops along the way – usually at the “Dégustation” spots! Guide dog extraordinaire Simpson (pictured with me) cannot keep up, so he has a holiday with some doggy friends at home.

I hope to raise as much as possible for SAUK, as a small charity it relies on donations to continue its valuable work.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scoliosis Association (UK) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
