This year, as a family effort, the 'Males' are doing the 'Italian Job'. (Sue, Rich, Chris, Hannah, Jos & Claire) in aid of children's charity 'KidsOut'
This year sees the 50th Anniversary of that great British icon, the 'Mini' and the 40th Anniversary of the famous 1969 Michael Caine film, 'The Italian Job'.
The 'Italian Job' Children's Charity Fundraising Event will also be 20 years old, and has raised to date, over £2m for all types of Children's charities. (we have been proud to have been a small part of it over the past 10 years and raised c£21000)
What better way to raise money for the children's charity 'KidsOut' than to drive a Mini 3000 miles to Rome - and back, in convoy, with another 100 like minded Minis, nutters and teams!!
check out the links - http://www.italianjob.com
Faithfull ol' 'Minibug', in the picture left, is being fully prepared, (after the clutch bunt out on the Italian Job 2005, following a crawling lorry up the Simplon Pass into Switzerland! - but still finished on a trailer!), and is almost ready for this years local events.
We are also offering free advertising space on our 2 Mini's for logos - corporate, company or private, for all donations to 'KidsOut' of over £100 (£200 can buy a whole panel - door, wing, bonnet, £500 the whole roof!) So if you know somebody please tell them (they need to supply the logo)
This is a fantastic local and European marketing opportunity!
We are also selling £1 raffle tickets - with a 1st prize of a BMW Mini Cooper!! (yes, BMW Mini are sponsors of KidsOut!)
Email: richard_male@hotmail.com and we will send/sell you some
Apart from this you will be able to see us (and the Minis) at many national Mini and local charity events, raising money, throughout this year.
We have pledged to try and raise £3000
Please sponsor us for KidsOut, which aims to provide fun and happiness for disadvantaged children - children who have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, abused, terminally ill, underprivileged, single parent and ethnic minority families.
Thank you, in anticipation.
Sue, Rich, Chris, Hannah, Jos & Claire
