I have been raising money for Cancer Research now for a number of years since my Mum passed away after an 8year battle with Cancer. As you can guess this is a charity that is very close to my heart and I am proud to be a part of their fund raising activities.

The challenges that I am about to embark upon are not easy, Ironman Lanzarote involves a 2.5mile swim, 112mile bike followed by a marathon. All of this in 80degrees of heat, strong winds and mountainous hills. A month later I will compete in the UK Half Ironman which is a qualifier for the World Championships later this year.
