Fundraising for Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust
Story
Hi everyone, I am running the Fleet Half Marathon on the 15th March 2009 in aid of Jo's Trust. This charity is close to my heart since my wife Louise was diagnosed with cervical cancer in January 2007.
Louise was fortunate that the diagnosis was made early and treatment was not as drastic as it could have been, therefore we feel terribly lucky as Louise has now been clear for 2 years. Louise relied on the support and advice that was offered by Jo's Trust to get her through some extremely difficult times and I want to raise awareness of the charity so that it can continue helping other women in the future.
