Hi there, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On 9 September starting in Blackheath, I embark upon a 300 mile trip through Kent and Northern France on a trip which will see me arrive in Paris four days later. The first day sees me attempt 90 miles from Blackheath to Dover..... hopefully there won't be any need to call on the 'mop up' van....
The aim of the cycle is to raise money for Action for ME, a charity particularly close to my heart due to having a member of my family who suffers from a severe form of ME, otherwise known as chronic fatigue syndrome. AfME's work involves providing support services, campaigning for improved standards of care, undertaking research and perhaps most importantly of all positively influencing the development of NHS services in addressing an illness where little is understood about how to treat it.
Donating through Justgiving is real quick, easy and secure. It really is the easiest way for to sponsor me: Action for M.E. gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to every penny your donation.
