My story

 

Dear All,

I have decided, at the ripe old age of 53 to have a go at the London Marathon 2010. I need your help to make me do it!

Each generation gives something to the next. Just as my parents gave lots to me and my generation I feel it is time for me to give something back for the next generation - and have a GREAT time doing it! Well I hope it will be great - certainly a challenge.

I have chosen SCOPE as my charity - they help support (primarily young) people with cerebral palsy and their families  - "Our aim is that disabled people achieve equality: a society in which they are as valued and have the same human and civil rights as everyone else." The next generation. And I am fortunate. SCOPE have chosen me to run for them! What a coincidence!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scope gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
