Well i made it to paris, a bit of sunburn a few mechanical issues and a few sore places that a good dose of sudacrem wouldnt fix! but it was by far and away one of the most enjoyable things ive done. the grand total is amazing but there is still time to donate to my page.

Between the 11th  - 18th june 2012 i will be cycling from Newcastle to Paris (620miles) with a group from work as part of Sage UK's Fundraising day "SageDay 2012". This years chosen charity is Cancer Research UK.

We have all been affected in some way by cancer, personally i lost a friend to cancer in november 2011 at the age of 32, Ross was a mate from school and drinking buddie and wingman for the "pub and club years" that followed, leading to being a playstation buddie after we got a little old to continue with the"club years" Ross liked his cycling and i couldnt think of a better way to raise some much needed money for cancer research.

Your donations no matter what size will go towards vital research into the testing and treament of cancer so that we no longer have to watch friends and family taken away.

Lastly, surely the sight of me in a bit of lycra is enough to get you donating and i promise to keep you up to date with photos.....and if your really lucky some of me in lycra ;-)
