Once again, I am embarking on the challenge of running the London Marathon. This will be my fourth marathon, so I should be getting used to it now...kind of!
I will be running to raise funds for KIDS, a charity that always supported my son, Riley. They are a fantastic charity and I totally believe in what they are trying to do...include disabled children in everyday society.
Riley Thomas Gager was an inspiration to everybody whose life he touched. He lit up every room and made you love him. He asked me to run the marathon, which I will do until my legs fall off. If he could have walked Riley would have been able to run a marathon with his hands behind his back. He sadly passed away in 2007 but I hope his legacy lives on in those he met...the message being "Cheer up!"
In the last 3 years Riley's friends and family have raised £8,111 and I would like this to surpass £10,000 this year!
