I did it!!!  And in a record time  - for me!!

 

My official finishing time is 3 hours, 40 minutes and 29 seconds!!!  Beating the time I ran the Paris Marathon (when I was 32!) by a couple of minutes, and my last London Marathon (5 years ago) took me 3 hours, 53 minutes and 40 seconds.  So, let's hear it for the oldies.... 

 

And thank you very, very much to everyone who has sponsored me so far.  I am very touched by your support, encouragement and ... money for CBC!!  As you can see I've now hit my initial target and would like to add to this total if possible.  So, if you are coming to this page for the first time and you want to contibute to the great work that CBC do then please add your donation.  You're just a couple of clicks away from supporting a really wonderful charity.

 

Running this last Marathon was an amazing experience.  The training was extremely time consuming and so worth it for the enjoyment (no really!) I had on the day.  Just goes to show what you can do with a bit of practice!!!  However, I won't be running another one....
