Why your donation matters

Every donation really makes a difference. We are always trying to minimise our costs so that we can achieve maximum benefits with our projects in Malawi. We only have one UK salary, and we employ 150 local Malawians in our education, healthcare, and environmental projects.

Most of our projects have been achieved with small donations, so please be generous and help us to make future projects a reality.

Case study: donations in action

Our local secondary school students used to walk 12 kms to school and 12 kms back from school every day.

For years, we had been wanting to build a new secondary school in the local area close to Mwaya where we work in Malawi, but the cost was enormous so we decided to build the school little by little. We raised funds in small amounts, and now Kapanda Community Day Secondary School is largely built and has been running for four years.

We have had donations for the purchase of textbooks, and Kapanda is now one of the best schools in Nkhata Bay District, Malawi. Recent exam results showed an 82% pass rate compared to an average in other schools of under 50%.

Kapanda School has only become a reality because of donations from people like you.
