Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to set myself another challenge!  Something that is really going test my physical and mental stamina.

I’m going to be kayaking the Zambezi River, the fourth-longest river in Africa in October 2015.  I will be paddling my way along the border with Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, avoiding the crocodiles and hippos and steadily heading towards the Falls. The final push will be through the tempestuous white water rapids of the Batoka gorge finishing at Victoria Falls.

I have (typically) left my training to the last minute so I am now training hard most days, given up alcohol, completely changed my diet and given up my early mornings and evenings to go training to get ready for this challenge.

Any donations are gratefully received.  Rowcroft Hospice are the only adult hospice serving the South Devon area and they do amazing work to help and support so many people.
