This year *Rider Levett Bucknall celebrates 225 years of providing property and construction consultancy to its clients.

As part of these celebrations the company are cycling around the country between the various offices raising money for local charities along the way.

On September 3rd the **Birmingham office are cycling down to Bristol, over 100 miles in support of local grassroots community projects within Birmingham and the Black Country through the Birmingham Community Foundation.

All the money raised will help local people find local solutions to local needs; targeting grants which will help to support community centres, sports, youth and after school clubs, theatre groups, recycling schemes, orchestras, exercise classes for the elderly and much more.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - you can raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

*The origins of the company can be traced back to a small firm of quantity surveyors established in 1785 by Henry Cooper.

After two centuries of growth, three companies pooled their resources and expertise to form the Rider Levett Bucknall global practice; Rider Hunt, Levett & Bailey and Bucknall Austin.

Our colleagues in Australia and USA can trace this lineage directly back to the source. However, things are slightly more complicated in the UK, with Rider Hunt and McBains Cooper still operating today, independently of RLB.

This achievement is being recognised by our partners across the world and a new section of the global website called RLB 225 has been launched to commemorate the anniversary.

**Team Members: Matthew Biot, Matthew Bromley, Ann Bentley, Stuart Stables, Kezia Twist, Warren Taroni, Elliott Millin, Claire Murdocu, David Quirk, Mike Thompson, Matthew McWalter, David Shaw, Peter West, Lee Higgs, Lance Taylor, Brendan Patchell, Craig Evans, Andrew Newman, Dane Skiba, Phil Tranter, Elliot Dinsdale, Ben Murphy, Alex Pimley, David Bucknall, Thomas Williams, Rebecca Brewster and Matt Kimberley.
