We enable physically disabled people to to enjoy inclusion through technology

Story

Around a year and a half ago I was left paralysed from the neck down and dependent on a ventilator. Following this I spent almost 9 months in hospital. I received and am still receiving a huge amount of help from various people and charities and I want to give something back.

A great help during this time was SpecialEffect who provided an eye gaze computer (controlled by blinking and eye movement). This provided much-needed relief from the realities of my prolonged stay in hospital. Not only that it enable me to begin another important part of rehab in how to to reconnect with the world and do things for myself.

Go to: http://www.cammpaign4rob.co.uk/2013/12/ to see a small part of how SpecialEffect helped me and my story in general.

SpecialEffect undoubtedly had a huge impact on me and by raising money for them I hope to enable them to help more people.
