So last year I started a running related business and customers kept asking me "So are you a runner?" and "Have you ever done a marathon?".

The answer was yes but no and it seemed to leave them a little disappointed. Plus my Dad will not even discuss running with me until I have 'done London'.

So in a freakish occurence of good luck and some damn right cheek, I secured a place in this years marathon and thought it best to raise some money for charity.

I have chosen the North East Motor Neurone Diseas Trust because it effects some close members of my wife's family and they will very much appreciate the support.

So please dig deep and challenge me to get round and for an additional challenge, perhaps without my nipples falling off like they have done in training...
