My story

Sometime between the 20th and 29th of July, I intend to swim solo from England to France in aid of Cancer Research.  The distance is 21 miles in a straight line - however the tidal conditions often adds much more to the journey.  It will take anywhere between 12 and 16 hours of continuous swimming.  For more information please check out my blog http://robdeakin.blogspot.com/.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
