Will you help our heroes?
On 6th December I will be taking part in a gruelling challenge, to run 30 miles 'extreme' cross country, along the Sussex Downs to raise much needed funds for the charity Help For Heroes.
Help For Heroes offers practical, direct support to the many young men and women of the British Armed Forces who have been severely injured or disabled as a result of the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This is a cause which is very close to my own heart because of excellent work that this charity does in helping to rebuild the shattered lives or our servicemen and their families.
I am also undertaking this challenge in recognition of our eldest son Oliver a serving soldier, who along with his countless 'chums' deserve our support, admiration and respect.
