13 Oct:Brief update - The team had a great experience in Czech Republic, many bringing home personal bests alongside friendships, fond memories and war stories.

I am part of the first UK team to enter the 11th European Canicross Championships.  What's Canicross? (http://cani-cross.co.uk/index.shtml, http://www.ecf.cc/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=2 ). Canicross is running with your dog for fun and health, but some of us get a bit competitive!  I owe my health and fitness to past research into kidney disease, resulting in a speedy diagnosis of kidney cancer and then all the advantages of keyhole surgery.  So I want to do my bit for future sufferers from kidney disease by encouraging you to donate to this brilliant charity who not only get the research done but provide information at that scary time when you find out you have kidney disease.   Over three million people in the UK are under threat from chronic kidney disease!
