After 14 years of being involved in triathlon in the UK, I have deicded to take part in the ultimate triathlon challange, provided by the UK Ironman.  On the 2nd of August I will be swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles and then running a marathon (26.2 miles).

This is an ultimate challange which i have always wanted to complete and with the event moving to its new location in Bolton provides me with the perfect opportunity to take this on.

This also gives me the opportunity to raise vital funds for Scope, who provide an excellent service throughout the uk for children and adults who face greater challanges in their every day lives than we can ever imagine.
