Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People
Martin House provides care and support, free of charge, to families in which there is a child or children with a short life expectancy. Its aim is to provide a home from home with a lively friendly atmosphere where children and their families can enjoy the best quality of life.

My personal message:

As you all know running is probably my least favourite past time. I am running the Leeds 10km Run for All not only to support an excellent local charity, but also to support my Aunty Jane. Jane was due to run with a partner who has dropped out last minute - so I have volunteered my fleet of foot services...she will probably beat me! Martin House does great work with families dealing with a short life expectancy for their children, they help create a stable, sympathetic and dignified environment in the most distressing of times. It would be great to reach £2000 - or as much as we can to support such a decent cause.
