Robin Hope and his crew are rowing the length of the freshwater Thames from Lechlade in Gloucestershire to Teddington in Middlesex and will be covering 152 miles + 54 locks.
I am joining Robin on the first day, Monday June 15th, when we will be rowing 16 miles from Lechlade (the Trout Inn) to Newbridge (the Rose Revived), taking in 5 locks on the way. This will be in Robin's beautifully restored traditional Thames double skiff built in 1895, which would not look out of place in the next re-make of Three Men in a Boat.
