Ronnie Bowker was an inspirational man not just within Ernst & Young, where he served as Midlands Managing Partner for many years, but also in the wider Birmingham community. His roles with the likes of the CBSO and Birmingham Hippodrome alongside other community roles allowed him to influence some of Birmingham's best young talent in many fields.

Sadly, in December 2010 Ronnie passed away from cancer, leaving behind him a loving family and a close group of friends. However, his legacy will remain through a fund which has been set up in his memory in association with the Birmingham & Black Country Community Foundation.

The Ronnie Bowker Foundation Fund has been established to support groups working in the most challenging communities in Birmingham and the West Midlands and is focused on groups involved with arts, culture, education and training, being the areas that Ronnie had a passion for and supported strongly.
