We will be embarking on a 12,000 mile drive from the UK to Ulaan Baatar in Mongolia, in an underprepared road car, probably a Ford Escort, to raise money for charities working in Mongolia. Our proposed route will hopefully take us through Iran and the 'stans, but this is subject to change if we are unable to get the visas required.

We are also raising money for the Blackpool's a Knockout MRI Scanner appeal which is available on our other sponsorship page. We will also be raising money for the Mongolia based Child Development Protection Fund (CDPF), which helps kids in Mongolia. There are many children who live on the streets in Mongolia, and when winter temperatures drop to -40°C it is certainly not a pleasant place to be. We will be supporting the CDPF by donating the vehicle to them at the end of the rally to sell at auction.
