Our fundraising efforts have included a charity golf fun day held at Garstang Country House Hotel and Golf Club followed by a Lancashire Evening hosted by Norman Prince; a comedy night at Ferarris Country Hotel and a local sponsored walk. Thanks to those that were involved in any of these events.
Cancer touches all our lives in one way or another, which is the reason we are undertaking fundraisng for this great local charity. Rosemere Charity, based at Royal Preston Hospital, uses the funds to for additional research, patient welfare projects and equipment for cancer units throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.
We have commenced our training and will be out and about in all weather throughout the coming winter months which will be in contrast to the searing heat in Cambodia and Vietnam!
