Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Following the loss of our baby daughter Rose in December 2008 to a congenital heart defect, I felt that I needed to do something to mark her memory and help other babies, children and families that suffer the same things. Raising money for the Children's heart surgery fund will help children and families both now and in the future to get better care and treatment for these conditions. If you would like more information on the Children's Heart Surgery Fund, please visit their website www.chsf.org.uk
I have chosen the National Three Peaks Challenge as our sponsored event to raise money. The challenge will involve a team of 12 tackling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in 24 hours on 10th and 11th of July 2009. It represents one of the toughest walking challenges in the UK and will be a stretch for the whole team who have varying levels of fitness and experience. Knowing we have a big support behind us and are raising lots for a good cause will help spur us on. If you want more information on the challenge, visit www.national3peaks.co.uk
To our beautiful Rose, you will never be forgotten and your heart will live on forever in ours xxx
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children's Heart Surgery Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor the team now!
